We're constantly improving Dealroom to help you find insights faster and navigate the platform more easily. Here’s a quick overview of the latest updates and how to make the most of them.

🚀 Product Releases – Q2 2025

We’ve made several improvements to help you navigate Dealroom more efficiently and get even more value from your searches and insights.

Here’s what’s new this quarter:

1. 📌 New: Location Page

Ever wished you could compare startup ecosystems across cities or countries, in seconds, all in one place? Now you can. Instantly see how regions stack up on growth metrics like VC investment, unicorn count, capital density, scaleup conversion and more. 🚀

2. 🔍✨ Smart Search

Our new upgraded search understands the meaning behind your queries and not just keywords. For example:

1. Type full phrases like “circular economy in France” in the search bar

2. Choose 'Smart Matching' from the dropdown option

3. Get specific results, even when companies use different terms. Check out an  example query.

3. 🔍✨ Advanced Filter Logic

You can now use the AND / OR search results logic for different types of filters (industry, tag, keyword, more). For example: Spanish startups that are both in robotics and health industry.

4. 📚 Library Upgrades

92% of our external libraries are now up-to-date! Improving platform speed, security, and stability.

5. 💰 Investors: AuM Data

You can now see Assets under Management (AuM) directly in the Investors table and on each Investor profile, giving you faster insight into the financial weight behind every investor. 

6. 💰 Investors: Improved Cards Placement

For better visibility of relevant cards in investor profiles, we updated the cards on the right side to show: portfolio analysis, new funds, notes, people and lists (in this particular order). See an example directly in an investor profile.

7. 📄 Lists & Landscapes Update

You can now publish lists and landscapes with no minimum number of companies.  Need help with building your first list? here's a quick step-by-step guide, or don’t hesitate to reach out!

8. 📄 Lists & Landscapes: Private Link Export

You can now export lists even if you’ve accessed them through a privately shared link — a long-requested improvement that makes collaboration easier and more flexible!

9. 🧠✨ Dealroom Picks: Smarter Content Curation

When adding a media component to a note, you'll now see a checkbox to mark it for inclusion in Dealroom Picks. This helps avoid duplicate or irrelevant content, keeping Picks fresh and high-quality.

10. 📤 Exporting: More Stable, More Secure

We’ve made under-the-hood enhancements to improve the safety and stability of all export processes, this ensures a smoother experience when downloading large datasets.

11. 📤 Exporting: 50K Row Limit Introduced

We’ve implemented a 50,000-row export cap to improve platform reliability for everyone. This helps prevent heavy loads from disrupting your experience or that of other users. Need help exporting your datasets? Follow our step-by-step guide here.

12. 📤 Exporting: Row Limit Selector

Take control of your data like never before. You can now choose exactly how many rows to export, no more wasting quotas or downloading more than you need. Smarter, faster, fully in your hands!

13. 🌍 New Ecosystem Platform: Hessen
